Sharon “Shari” Kay Linn, 67 of Ashland passed away, Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in her home. She was born April 12, 1949 in Ashland to the late Clifford D. and Betty J. (nee Halliwill) Linn. Shari graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1967. She went on to earn an Associate’s Degree from the University of Maryland. She has traveled throughout her life. Shari has resided in Misawa, Japan, Mesa Arizona, Kittery, Maine, Charleston, South Carolina, and Rockford, Illinois. Shari was an STNA for more than 30 years at various agencies. She was one of the first STNA’s at Brethren Care Village. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ashland. Shari enjoyed crocheting and baking. While Shari lived in Japan, she skied the second highest mountain in the world, Yamanashi. Shari is survived by one daughter, Kristal Hildebrand and her fiancée Toby Wade of Winnebago, Illinois; and one brother, Ronald (Diana) Linn of Ashland.
